Our ability to utilize a Robinson R-44 helicopter allows us to slowly pass over your facility taking several images in just seconds. This allows us to create an Infrared Image as well as a digital image. With one known measurement, we can digitize your roof plan to full size drawings and pin point all the areas of suspect moisture on a scaled roof plan. Our images utilize the latest FLIR Camera with 640 x 480 resolution. This is double the resolution of most previous cameras which means you will be able to determine problem roof areas with the precise clarity of your Infrared images.
Wondering how it works?
Our Flir Thermocam P620 creates a thermal image of the entire roof surface. This image maps out area of differing thermal readings. The thermal signatures are color coded to reflect red as warmer areas and white as cooler areas. When the sun’s energy has dissipated at dusk, water saturated roof substrate creates a different thermal signature than areas that are dry during the thermal equalization stage. This is when our certified thermographers hover over your facility and capture images of the roof surface. This allows us to spot the areas of concern that you may not even be aware that exist.
An additional field verification service can be added to our aerial scan to validate findings and transfer data via paint marks on actual roof surface. This will allow accurate evaluation and pricing for further roof repair or maintenance.
